Designed for a controlled first step

A practical Business Central starter package for small Australian teams

The Micro Launch is designed for a very small business, distributor or wholesaler that can adopt a standard Business Central Essentials configuration without a complex migration or bespoke solution build.

Small operating team

One to five Essentials full users in one Australian legal entity and one currency.

Standard finance and trade

Core finance with basic sales and purchasing, delivered through remote standard configuration.

Prepared, clean data

Customer-supplied templates for clean master data and opening balances, ready for import.

Defined standard implementation

What the Micro Launch includes

Every included item is confirmed in the final quotation and Statement of Work. The offer covers a standard implementation only.

  • One Australian legal entity/company and one currency
  • Business Central Essentials with standard finance, basic sales and purchasing
  • Remote standard configuration
  • Import of clean, customer-supplied master-data templates and opening balances
  • One UAT cycle
  • Defined remote training
  • Limited post-go-live hypercare

Separate assessment and quotation

What is outside the standard package

These requirements are not included in the Micro Launch fee and are quoted separately where LeXurey can support them.

  • Complete historical transaction migration
  • NAV or Navision upgrade or conversion
  • Custom AL development or other customisations
  • Integrations, third-party apps and custom reports
  • Manufacturing, advanced warehouse or complex multi-entity requirements
  • Data cleansing and additional training or support
  • All variations and change requests

Already using Dynamics NAV or Navision?

A NAV-to-Business Central move is a migration project, not a Micro Launch. Application code, integrations, data/history choices, testing and transition requirements must be assessed and quoted separately.

Commercial terms in plain language

Three-year licences, without unrelated consulting lock-in

The customer commits to purchase the agreed licences through LeXurey for three years. That licence commitment does not lock the customer into LeXurey for unrelated consulting or support. Microsoft subscriptions remain governed by the applicable Microsoft and CSP cancellation, seat-reduction, billing and renewal terms.

Buyer questions

Business Central Micro Launch FAQ

What is the total cost?

The one-time launch and project-management fee is 30% of the committed 36-month Microsoft licence list value, with no minimum launch fee. Microsoft licences are billed separately. Any GST and separately quoted non-standard work are additional.

What is included?

The defined scope covers one Australian legal entity, one currency, Essentials standard finance, basic sales and purchasing, remote configuration, clean customer-supplied master data and opening balances, one UAT cycle, defined remote training and limited hypercare.

What does ‘full user’ mean?

A full user is a qualifying Business Central Essentials or Premium user licence. The illustrative table uses Essentials pricing. Premium, Team Member, Device and mixed-licence scenarios are confirmed at quotation.

Can I add Team Members?

Yes, where suitable for their access needs, but Team Member licences do not replace the qualifying full-user count in this 1–5 user illustration. LeXurey confirms the appropriate licence mix in the quotation.

Will all my history be migrated?

No. The standard package imports clean customer-supplied master-data templates and opening balances. Complete historical transaction migration and data cleansing require separate assessment and quotation.

How long will implementation take?

A delivery timetable is confirmed after assessment. Timing depends on data readiness, customer availability for UAT and training, and whether the request remains within the defined standard scope.

What does the three-year licence commitment mean?

You commit to purchase the agreed Microsoft licences through LeXurey for three years under the applicable Microsoft/CSP terms. You are not locked into LeXurey for unrelated consulting or support.

Are Microsoft prices fixed for three years?

No. The table is illustrative as at 4 August 2026 and subject to Microsoft price changes. The quotation confirms current licence pricing, while renewals use Microsoft’s then-current Australian pricing.

What is excluded?

Historical transaction migration, NAV conversion, custom AL, integrations, third-party apps, custom reports, manufacturing, advanced warehouse, complex multi-entity requirements, data cleansing, extra training/support and all variations are separately quoted.

Can I use this offer to migrate from Dynamics NAV?

No. NAV or Navision migration is assessed and quoted separately because application code, integrations, history, testing and cutover requirements differ materially from a new standard setup.
